The food was good , however, on my last couple of visits, the customer service has me feeling unappreciated as a repeat customer. I simply requested that they fry my carnitas a bit more to make it crispy.. (as it should be) and was told they can’t do that🤔. And the woman behind the counter was rude before that. So they lose stars on that note. The food is flavorful tho and I do enjoy my meals. They need to work on their customer service tho. I’ll return when I’m out there and hopefully they have worked on that.

Food is always good. Customer Service is horrible. These women look at you like you’re bothering them by coming to eat there. They have the meanest face, not friendly whatsoever!! They need to fix that. Im not the only one that says the same thing. I went with a friend and she was just rude… I talk highly about this place and food. When I being someone to come join me for lunch. And the first thing we see if that annoyed face. Can’t even welcome us in. All she said was “hi” with the mean face. She has a tattoo on her neck I didnt get her name
But they need to get rid of her or atleast talk to her about being friendly..

Service ok somewhat fast. But food price and quality are not good. Ordered a very bland al pastor torta you can tell right off the bat pork not cooked on a trompo.chunks of pork meat seasoning just not there. Salsas so watery with no substance. Birriria placed in to go container w beans and rice with hardly any beef broth consome for the meat. Cheap yellow cheese used on Beans immediately a bad sign. No queso fresco or cotija used so that’s a NO NO. Rice oversalted. You see the problem that exists in the desert for a while now from Indio to PS is this wide spread acceptance of mediocre restaurants
..and not just Mexican eatieries as I have noticed this too with Italian and Chinese establishments also..the owners figure they can get away with cutting corners if nobody says anything. Saw this in 1000 palms recently for a taco food truck there offering greasy tacos de cabeza and I had to put them on blast. And it’s not just this I was at Mastros on El paseo last year and you would think for $175 that australian wagyu would have been amazing. It wasn’t with a horrible amount of fat probably 70% my Chihuahua wouldnt eat it! We have come to a time now with public individuals/ customers that believe for example a “good” Chile verde they are getting has only has 3 ingredients in it. Really? Nope try more like 10! I want exceptional and not just “decent” for my $$. Stop the b.s. and maybe one day I’ll bring my business back! I’m done!
